Prices from the shops we compare. Nobody pays for a place. How we rank
Saving per year = gas per year × the percentage that fits your situation × your gas price. Milieu Centraal gives 14% less gas for heating in an average home whose residents do not yet heat consciously. With modulating control of the boiler, about 3% comes on top. If you already heat very carefully, you save almost nothing.
Payback = the price of the cheapest thermostat ÷ the saving per month. Parts and accessories that cost less than a quarter of the middle price are left out, or a loose part would look like a thermostat.
Only the gas for heating counts. If you also cook and shower on gas, use a little less than your total. The gas price filled in is an example for each country: enter the one from your own contract. The real effect depends on your home and your habits.
We show room thermostats only. Single radiator knobs save per radiator and fall outside this calculation.
