## Prises connectées : à quoi faire attention ?

Une prise connectée se branche entre la prise murale et l'appareil, que tu allumes ensuite avec une appli, un assistant vocal ou un horaire. Regarde d'abord la connexion : les modèles wifi fonctionnent directement avec ta box, les modèles Zigbee ont besoin d'un pont ou d'une passerelle (comme Hue ou Aqara), et les modèles Matter fonctionnent avec Apple Maison, Google Home et Alexa.

Vérifie aussi la mesure de consommation si tu veux voir ce qu'un appareil consomme, la puissance maximale (souvent 3680 W à 16 A) et l'indice IP44 pour l'extérieur. En France et en Belgique, choisis une prise de type E (avec broche de terre).

### Faut-il une passerelle pour une prise connectée ?

Pas pour les modèles wifi : ils se connectent directement à ta box. Les prises Zigbee ont besoin d'un pont ou d'une passerelle, les modèles Matter sur Thread d'un routeur de bordure Thread (comme une enceinte connectée récente). La page produit indique la connexion.
